The PROTIG 221 DC FV (220 A) is a versatile dual-process unit for TIG DC and MMA welding, in a compact, portable format. Its PFC technology combines many advantages, including excellent energy efficiency and the ability to operate reliably with very long power cables of over 100 meters.
• TIG DC: ensures quality welding on all ferrous materials such as steel and stainless steel, as well as copper and its alloys.
• TIG DC Pulsed up to 2 kHz: controls the temperature of the molten bath, limits deformation and enables the assembly of thin sheet metal of thicknesses as low as 0.3 mm.
• Automatic torch detection: compatible with lamella, double button and potentiometer torches.
• MMA: Basic and Rutile electrodes (up to Ø 5 mm).
• Pulsed MMA: facilitates welding in upright position
