GYSTUD ARCPULL 350 INDUSTRY

Ref : 082946 EAN CODE : 3154020082946
The ARCPULL 350 is a single-phase inverter arc welder for welding inserts (studs, internally threaded studs, insulation nails, pull rings, rivet extraction rods, etc.) to aluminium or steel-based materials. It has a Synergic operating mode and a Manual operating mode. The Programs menu lets you store and recall welding configurations.

There are 4 main stages: priming, stripping, arcing and clamping.

Priming: the insert (pull ring, studs, etc.) is brought into contact with the support sheet. Pressing the trigger starts the welding process: the generator sends current to the stud, the gun axis rises slightly, and a low-intensity electric arc is created.

Stripping: this phase could also be called preheating. The generator regulates a current to create a low-intensity electric arc. The heat generated by this arc is used to :
- burn off impurities from the support sheet (grease, oil, electrolytic zinc coating).
- preheat the two parts, thus limiting the thermal shock of the welding arc, in order to improve the quality of the weld.
During this phase, neither the insert nor the support sheet melts. Similarly, this phase does not allow the zinc layer on the galvanised sheet to be removed.
